My mom always made this easy quick and filling Shepard's pie. An inexpensive meal for a big family. Can be made in smaller portions for single servings. Great the next day too.

    potatos
  • 4 lb
    hamburger
  • 2 can
    cream corn
  • 2 can
    whole corn
  • milk
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c
    onion
  • butter

How To Make mom's sheperds pie

  • 1
    Peel and boil potatoes mash and add milk and butter until smooth
  • 2
    Brown ground beef, add chopped onion cook until onion is transparent
  • 3
    Layer ground beef mixture then cream style and whole corn then mashed potato smooth potato rub small amount of vegetable oil
  • 4
    bake in over 30-35 min until potatoes are golden brown on top
