I said soft shells tacos , and changed my mind because letting them fix their own plates was easier. Once I got the setup out of the way, they fell into them. Once my preparation was out of the way, I was sitting easy. Make it your own with toppings. Photos are all mines.

Ingredients For momma's nachos, iris

  • 3-4 lb
    ground chuck
  • 3 pkg
    taco seasonings, your choice
  • 1 sm
    yellow onion, diced
  • 3 lg
    tomatoes, chopped
  • shredded lettuce
  • 2and 1 / 2 pkg
    shredded cheese, sharp, mild, mozzarella, mix it up
  • 1
    family bag of doritos, your choice
  • sour cream

    In a 9x13 pan, sprayed with olive oil, line egg it the Doritos flavor of your choice, then spread with a generous layer of mozzarella

    Add ground chuck on top of Doritos, all of it, top with sharp and mild cheddar

    Place under broiler until hot. Remove and add diced onions, tomatoes, and remaining cheese
