My mom and my grandma made meatloaf this way. Comfort food at it's best. Great with baked potatoes or mashed with gravy.

Ingredients For meatloaf

  • 1 lb
    ground round
  • 1 can
    roastbeef hash (or cornbeef)
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 c
    chopped green pepper
  • 1/8 c
    ketchup
  • 1/2 c
    oats
  • 12
    saltine crackers, smashed

How To Make meatloaf

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients together.
  • 2
    Spoon mixture into loaf pan and make trench around edges to collect grease.
  • 3
    Cover with tin foil. Cook at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and broil for 5-10 minutes to toast the top.
