Ingredients For meat ball stew
- FOR THE SOUP

5 lgpotatoes, peeled and cubed

1 pkg(1 lb) ready-to-eat baby-cut carrots

5 can(14 oz.) beef broth
-
1 lgonion, quartered

1/2 Tbspsalt

1/2 tsppepper
-
1 tspwhole dried thyme
-
1/4 cchopped fresh parsley
-
1 Tbspkitchen bouquet

1/2 cflour
-
1 cwater
- FOR THE MEAT BALLS

2 lblean ground beef
-
1 citalian dry bread crumbs

2 lgeggs
-
1/2 cmilk
-
1 Tbsponion powder
-
1 tspsalt

1/2 tsppepper

1 Tbspsteak sauce
How To Make meat ball stew

1Add beef broth, carrots, onion, salt, pepper and herbs to pot. Bring just to boil, cover and simmer 1/2 hour.

2Add potatoes to pot and cook for another 25 minutes.

3Meanwhile, mix together ingredients for the meat balls. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.

4Mix flour and water together until very, very smooth. Add to pot. Next add meat balls, browning sauce and to pot. Cook on medium-low heat, stirring gently just until stew is thickened.

5Let stand for 10 minutes. Serve with crusty bread.
