My family loves chili especially on a cold day. This chili recipe is very delicious and easy to make. In my opinion the chili is best served over Fritos corn chips! Hmm!

Ingredients For home-style chili

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef chuck
  • 3/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 can
    rotel original diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
  • 1 can
    chili beans in sauce
  • 1 can
    kidney beans in sauce
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 pkg
    chili seasoning mix
  • 2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded

How To Make home-style chili

  • 1
    Brown beef in large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring to break up meat; drain fat. Add onions, pepper and salt; and stir until onion is tender.

    Stir in rotel with juice, beans with sauce, water and seasoning mix; simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice or corn chip; sprinkle with cheese.
