These burgers were a nice surprise. The burger patty was so flavorful I didn't need to have a complex sauce - just fresh veggies, a slice of sharp cheddar cheese, and mayo made these a treat. Give them a try next time you have burger night. Enjoy

Ingredients For grilled smoky brisket burgers

1/2 lbground beef 80/20

3 slicebrisket cooked, i used left over smoked brisket thick sliced

1/4 tspsalt

1/4 tspground cumin
-
1/4 tspgarlic powder
-
fresh ground pepper to taste - i used about 7 turns medium ground

4 slicethick sliced bread or hamburger buns - lightly buttered
- TOPPINGS: FEEL FREE TO USE YOUR FAVS

2 slicesharp cheddar, thick sliced

2pickled jalapenos, sliced

2 slicetomato
-
6 slicebread and butter pickles
-
fresh garden lettuce, to taste

mayo, or your favorite condiment, to taste
How To Make grilled smoky brisket burgers

1Prep your grill. While you are waiting for the coals prepare your meat mixture. In your food processor add brisket and pulse until ground as shown.

2Add ground beef, salt, cumin, garlic powder, and pepper. Pulse until well combined.

3Form into 2 equal patties.

4Place on grill close lid and cook for 5 minutes.

5Flip and cook an additional 5 minutes.

6Bring them bad boys in and top with jalapeno slices and cheese. Cover and let set while grilling your bread or buns.

7Grill until light grill marks form. You don't want to over grill and make them too crunchy - just lightly crispy and warm.

8Assemble your burger and enjoy!
