crockpot cardiac arrest (meat lovers casserole)
I found several similar recipes that had one or two things I liked but the rest I didn't, so I've combined what I liked and tried this out. I use ground turkey and chicken because they have a nice taste and are much less greasy when cooking. You can also use any type of sausage you like, I've tried both regular and Italian sausage with good results. This can be a little greasy so you could always use Low Fat cheese, but I personally don't feel they taste as good.

1 pkgfrozen meatballs, thawed

1 lbham, diced

4 ozreal bacon bits

1 lbsausage

2 lbground beef or turkey
-
1 bagfrozen hash browns, cubed

1 bagmozzarella
-
1 bagcheddar
-
5 cpasta sauce

1Mix the two bags of cheese together and divide three portions to one.

2Brown all of the ground meats until no longer pink and drain. If the meatballs are regular or large in size, cut them into manageable sizes.

3Mix together all ingredients, leaving the one portion of cheese to top the casserole after done.

4Cover and cook on High for 2-3 hours or until top layer of cheese and sauce are melted and bubbling.
