I always wanted to make a coffee rub! I originally made this rub for a morning steak and eggs. Time got away so I made for lunch. Has a little bit of everything, mexican, italian, american! I saved the rest of rub for my burgers this weekend. Use on any kind of meat!

Ingredients For coffee rubbed bottom round (grilled)

  • 1 Tbsp
    freshly ground goffee
  • 2 tsp
    lite brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    cumin
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp
    sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    sazon
  • 1 pinch
    red pepper flakes

How To Make coffee rubbed bottom round (grilled)

  • 1
    Mix all rub ingredients in a plastic container. Can be made ahead of time. Cover with lid and can be stored up to a week ahead of time. Rub one side of steaks. Grill with rubbed side down first. Cook steaks according to Your liking. I like mine mooing ;)
