It's been years since I've eaten a Big Mac™ hamburger. Here's our taco version! ;) If desired, you can shape the ground hamburger into little "baby burgers" and either pan fry or bake. Includes a simplified, homemade recipe for the Special Sauce, too. All ingredient amounts are estimated as are the servings. ¡Viva Takos Tuesday!

Ingredients For big mac tacos

1 Tbspoil, for frying

1 lbground beef
-
1/2 Tbspworcestershire sauce
-
1/4 tspsalt-free garlic powder
-
8corn tortilla shells, approximately
- SPECIAL SAUCE:

1/2 cmayonnaise
-
2 Tbspketchup
-
1/2 tsponion powder
-
1-2 tspwhite vinegar
-
4 tspsweet pickle relish
-
1/2 Tbspsugar
-
pinchsalt
-
2 Tbspwater or milk
-
1/4 tspblack pepper
- BIG MAC TOPPINGS:
-
lettuce leaves (spinach, iceberg, mixed greens, etc.)

grated cheddar cheese
-
bread and butter pickles
-
diced onion
-
white or brown sesame seeds
-
homemade special sauce™
-
sliced tomatoes (i think the small grape sized tomatoes are best for this recipe)

fresh cilantro, minced
-
hot sauce or fresh chili peppers, minced
How To Make big mac tacos

1Prepare the Special Sauce, cover and refrigerate until ready to eat.

2Heat up the oil in a pan and cook the ground meat until no longer pink. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce and the garlic powder the final few minutes of browning.

3Place about scant 1/4 cup of the browned meat in each taco shell. Add a spoonful of the Special Sauce then garnish with the Big Mac toppings.
