I always have loved this dish, Mom would make it occasionally while we were growing up and it has a taste you just can't beat. I also tend to double the sour cream from Mom's original recipe but it makes it so much richer

Ingredients For beef stroganoff

2 lbtop round steak sliced in 1 1/2 inch strips

2med yellow onion chopped

1 lbsliced mushrooms
-
1/2 cbutter, unsalted

1/4 call purpose flour
-
1 tspmarjoram, dried
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tsppepper, black ground
-
1/2 tspdry mustard
-
1/4 cketchup
-
2 cbeef broth
-
1 ptsour cream
-
1 pkgwide noodles
How To Make beef stroganoff

1trim and slice top round steaks into 1 1/2 inch strips

2flour meat and brown in large skillet in butter
-
3add all of the other ingredients except for the noodles and sour cream,

4simmer for 1 1/2 hours

5add sour cream, return to a simmer and heat through

6bring a pot of salted water to a boil and add noodles, cook to package instructions, drain

7combine noodles and stroganoff and enjoy
