Stir fry is always a nice quick dish to prepare. You can trade out the beef for boneless skinless chicken or turkey breast. The sesame oil adds a distinct flavour and should not be left out of the recipe.

Ingredients For beef stir fry

1 lblean sirloin steak, cut into thin strips

1 cthinly sliced sweet red pepper

2 ctrimmed snow peas

1 cchopped green onions

1 clow sodium, reduced fat chicken broth

2 Tbspreduced sodium soy sauce

2 tsplow fat peanut butter
-
1 Tbspgrated ginger root
-
1 Tbspcornstarch
-
1 tspsesame oil

1/2 tspcrushed red pepper flakes

4 ccooked brown rice
How To Make beef stir fry

1Spray a large non stick wok or skillet with non stick spray. Add the beef and cook over high heat until beef is no longer pink, about 4 minutes. Remove beef from wok and set aside.

2Add red pepper, snow peas, and green onions to wok. Cook and stir until vegetables are tender crisp, about 3-4 minutes.

3Whisk together broth, peanut butter, soy sauce, ginger root, cornstarch, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Add to vegetables, along with beef. Cook and stir until sauce is bubbly and thickened, about 2 minutes.

4Serve beef and vegetables over hot, cooked rice.
