Cold days bring in cravings of chili, soup and stews. This chili is the result of what I had in my pantry.

Ingredients For beef chili

1 lbbeef, cut into bite size pieces

1-2 Tbspflour

1 lgonion, coarsely chopped

salt and pepper

3 clovegarlic, minced

1 Tbsptomato paste

1 candiced tomatoes, with chilis, undrained

1 canblack beans, drained, rinced
-
1 canred kidney beans, undrained

1 pkgchili seasoning
-
1 cwater
How To Make beef chili

1In a dutch oven heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil . Salt and pepper beef and toss with flour. Add to pot and brown beef all over. Add onions, garlic and tomato paste. Stir and cook for a few minutes.

2Add water, diced tomatoes, black beans, kidney beans, and chili seasoning. Bring to a boil and lower heat. Slow simmer until beef and beans are tender. The longer the better.
