bacon wrapped meatballs
If you want to try something a little different with your meatballs, this is a very tasty way to change things up a bit. I brought these to a church potluck and there weren't any leftover! FYI: to make them even better, cut string cheese sticks into bite size pieces and wrap the meatball mixture around it, and then the bacon...YUM!!

4 lbground beef

2 cfine bread crumbs ( i like the italian seasoned)

2eggs

1 pkgonion soup mix

2 Tbspitalian seasoning (i like penzey's frozen pizza spice)

1 Tbspminced garlic

24 slicebacon
- CREAMY TOMATO SAUCE
-
24` ozjar of spaghetti sauce (i like the tomato basil one)

16 ozsour cream
-
14 oztomatoes, canned italian-style and diced

1 tspsalt
-
1 Tbspitalian seasoning
How To Make bacon wrapped meatballs

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Mix together the ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion soup mix, Italian seasoning, and the garlic. Form into 24 meatballs. Wrap one slice of bacon around meatball (forms an x sort of) and place seam side down in pan. Bake for about 45 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

2Mix together the spaghetti sauce, sour cream, tomatoes, salt and Italian seasoning. Pour over cooked meatballs, and bake for about 15-20 minutes until bubbly and hot.

3Serve over rice or noodles.
