My aunt was a wonderful cook and we always looked forward to visiting with her and eating her dishes. Her meatloaf was a treat every time we had it.

Ingredients For aunt donna's meatloaf

  • 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/2 c
    green bell pepper (diced)
  • 1 c
    small onion (diced)
  • 2 Tbsp
    mustard, spicy brown
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 c
    bread crumbs, seasoned
  • 1 sm
    tomato sauce, italian seasoned
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped chives
  • 3 slice
    bacon

How To Make aunt donna's meatloaf

  • 1
    Mix 1st 8 ingredients together to form a loaf. Place in a loaf pan.

    Pour tomato sauce over top and place bacon on top.

    Cook at 350 for about an hour. Temperature in middle of loaf should be at least 160 degrees. Let sit for 15 minutes then slice.

    Use leftovers for sandwiches the next day!
