You can add any topping or seasoning to this that you like. I like to go with 2 containers of pizza sauce, and just 1/2 lb. of burger, but it just depends on how 'saucy' you like it. One thing.. if your a Hawaiin pizza fan like myself, make sure to drain and dry your canned pineapple well, otherwise it will be overly juicy.

Ingredients For stromboli

  • 1 pkg
    frozen bread dough
  • 1/2-1 lb
    ground burger
  • 1 jar
    pizza sauce
  • 1 pkg
    mozzarella cheese
  • Any pizza toppings you like

How To Make stromboli

  • 1
    Allow frozen bread to thaw and rise. Brown burger in a medium skillet. Add sauce and desired seasonings. Let simmer for just a few minutes.

    Punch risen dough down and roll into a rectangle. (I usually just put mine on a cookie sheet and pull it until its covers the entire sheet.) Spread with margarine.

    Spread sauce mixture, cheeses and desired toppings the long way down the center. Fold dough over and pinch together. Flip so seam side is down. Bake on cookie sheet at 350 for approximately 20 minutes.
