Ingredients For spaghetti bake with cream cheese topping

  • 6 oz
    spaghetti
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1/3 c
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 2
    eggs well beaten
  • 1-2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1/2 c
    onion chopped
  • 1 1/3 c
    canned tomatoes
  • 1 can
    (6oz) tomato paste
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 1/2 c
    mozzaarella cheese
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream

How To Make spaghetti bake with cream cheese topping

    Cook spaghetti according to pkg directions, drain stir 2 tblsp butter into hot spaghetti, stir in parmeasan cheese and eggs. Put into deep pie pan or 9" square pan.

    Cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned. drain off excess fat. stir in undrained tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar oregano and garlic salt. Heat through and put on top of spaghetti. add Mozzeralla cheese.

    Topping: brown chopped onion in 1/2 cup butter add cream cheese and sour cream and spread on top of cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 45 minutes,
