Years ago there was a pizza parlor near where I was growing up and after a ride on our families horse my friend and I would stop by and have a Roman sub...later my mom and I perfected the recipe and I haven't made them in yrs...but thought about them today.

Ingredients For roman subs

1 pkgfrozen bread dough or already made dough from your local bakery

1-2tomatoes cut thin

pepperoni
-
hard salami, sliced
-
ham sliced thin

shredded mozzarella cheese
-
drained banana peppers
-
pizza sauce
-
shredded lettuce
How To Make roman subs

1Roll out pizza dough in to individual portions. Make sure your tomatoes & banana peppers are patted dry. Add your sauce, meat, then tomatoes, peppers, lettuce and then end with cheese. Fold dough over to enclose all ingredients. Brush melted butter on each. Bake at a 375F for 25 minutes. Serve with chips or a little bit more sauce.
