My kids LOVE these snacks! They're super easy, tasty and not loaded in fat like some other foods! My teenager makes these without any help from Mom which is great! It can easily be converted to vegetarian by omitting the pepperoni and adding a few veggies. Thats how my husband likes his. It's like a pizza flavored quesadilla with a marinara dipping sauce-- YUM!

Ingredients For pizzatillas

1 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

18 inch flour tortilla

1/3 cshredded mozzarella cheese

5 slicepepperoni (or turkey pepperoni)

1/4 cmarinara sauce
How To Make pizzatillas

1Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

2Brush olive oil on one side of tortilla. Place tortilla, oiled side down, onto baking sheet.

3Sprinkle half the cheese evenly over tortilla. Spread out the pepperoni evenly over tortilla and cover with remaining cheese.

4Bake in oven for 5 minutes. With tongs, fold tortilla in half, bake for 3-5 minutes more until lightly browned. Flip tortilla over and bake for 3-5 minutes more until golden brown. Do not overbake!

5Remove from oven and cut into 4 pieces. Serve with marinara on the side.
