1 lbpenne or ziti

1small onion, finely chopped

1 tspgarlic, minced

1 canpetite diced tomatoes (14 oz.)

1 tspsugar

1/8 cvodka

3/4 cheavy cream
How To Make pasta in vodka sauce

1Prepare penne according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large, well-oiled skillet over medium-high heat, sauté onion for 5 minutes or until translucent. Add minced garlic; sauté 1 minute.

2Add tomatoes and sugar, reduce heat to medium and simmer for 20 minutes. Add vodka; season with salt and pepper and cook for 1 – 2 minutes. Add cream and cook just until heated through. In a large bowl, combine pasta and sauce.
