When you have whole wheat or white flour the pizza is amazing. The two flavors crust have two different tastes, but Both really good.

Ingredients For homemade whole wheat pizza crust

  • 2 c
    whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 c
    unbleached white flour
  • 1 pkg
    active dry yeast
  • 1 1/4 c
    lukewarm water
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    dry milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin

How To Make homemade whole wheat pizza crust

  • 1
    Dissolve yeast and sugar in water. Stir in dry milk, oil and wheat flour. Then stir in 1 cup white flour.

    On a pastry cloth spread remaining flour. Turn out crust mixture onto floured cloth and knead until flour is worked in.

    Place in oiled bowl and cover and let rise 1 1/2 to 2 hours ( until doubled ).

    Pat onto oiled pizza pan and double over edges to make a ridge cover and let rise 45 minutes. Pre- bake 5 minutes at 425 degrees
