I thought I would give this a try, and it turned out well. This tastes just like it came off of a wood-burned stove. (I have a gas grill.) I made a 13" pizza and served it with a side salad. Delish!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Grilled pizza is fun to serve at a dinner party, but hard to find good directions. This recipe is a great step-by-step guide on how to grill pizza right. We opted for Karen's topping recommendations and they made it a flavorful meat and veggie pizza. Feel free to use what your family likes, though. This is a totally fun and yum summer dinner recipe.

  • Prepared pizza crust on the grill.

Warm the pizza crust on the grill; maybe for 5 minutes. Watch it or it will burn unless you have a gas grill where you can control either side of the heat. (I turned off the one side and cooked it there.)
  • Adding pizza sauce to the crust.
    2
After heated through add the pizza sauce.
  • Cheese and toppings added to the pizza.
    3
Then the cheese and all of your toppings. Heat through.
  • Turning off the grill.
    4
Turn off the grill and close the lid.
  • Cheese melted on the pizza.
    5
Let the cheese melt. Serve with a side salad.
