This recipe comes from my Grandmother , born in 1902.Her hands were always busy in the kitchen. Great with a Pasta of your choosing and sauce.

Ingredients For grandmom's italian meatballs,my way

1 lb lbtop of the round ground beef
-
1egg
-
1/2 cday old crusty bread process into crumbs
-
1/4 cmilk
-
1/4 tspsalt and pepper
-
2 Tbspfinely chopped flat leaf parsley
-
1/2 clocatelli brand pecorino romano grated cheese
-
2-3 Tbspolive oil
-
2 Tbspfinely chopped/diced onion
-
4finely chopped fresh basil leaves
How To Make grandmom's italian meatballs,my way

1Combine 1/4 c of milk with 1/2 c day old crusty bread processed into crumbs let bread crumbs soak up the milk

2Next start to Finely chop 2 tablespoons each of flat leaf parsley,Basil

3In a large mixing bowl put in your 1 lb of top of the round ground beef
-
4Add soaked bread crumbs removing any excess liquid if needed

5Add 1/4 tsp. of salt and pepper

6Add 2 tbs. of finely chopped flat leaf parsley and finely minced Basil
-
7Add 1/2 c of Locatelli brand pecorino romano grated cheese
-
8Add 1 egg
-
9Mix well
-
10Make medium size meatballs and pan fry with 2-3 tbs. of olive oil brown then finish cooking in simmering pasta sauce,stir as needed.
