My children's grandmother (whose mom was from Sicily) taught me how to make some really yummy spaghetti sauce :) This is enough for 2lbs. of pasta, or for two meals

1 lgyellow onions

6 clovegarlic, minced

2 Tbspolive oil, extra virgin

2 lbground beef
-
2 canspaghetti sauce

1 candiced tomatoes, large can

dashsalt and pepper
-
dashoregano
-
dashseasoned salt
-
dashitalian seasoning
-
2 Tbspsugar
-
2 lbspaghetti noodles

1loaf of garlic bread
How To Make grandma mary’s spaghetti sauce

1Sauté the onion and garlic in a large pan. When the onions are translucent, maybe 5 minutes, then add the ground beef and brown.

2When browned, add the remaining ingredients, seasoning to taste.

3Cover and simmer on low for 2 to 3 hours. Or, you can put it in the slow-cooker on low for the day
