- TOMATO SAUCE

3 Tbspolive oil

2carrots, chopped

2celery stalks, chopped

1 lgyellow onion, chopped

1/2green pepper, chopped

2 clovegarlic, crushed

3 ccanned tomato sauce

3/4 cbeef stock (1 1/2 teas. beef bouillion cubes with 3/4 cup water)

3/4 cred wine
-
1 tsprosemary
-
1 tspbasil
-
1 tsporegano
-
1/2 Tbsplemon peel, chopped

salt and pepper to taste
How To Make gourmet spaghetti - part 3 - tomato sauce

1Saute carrots, celery, onion, green pepper and garlic in oil until lightly colored. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer altogether, covered for 1 hr. (For regular spaghetti sauce: Add 1 lb. hamburger and 2-3 links of Italian sausage)

2Serve Gourmet Spaghetti over cooked spaghetti noodles and top with fresh shredded or grated parmesan cheese.
