Fast Fannie's was my dad's nick name for me when I was growing up. This is my spicy Italian twist on pinwheels. These are ready in a flash! I hope that you enjoy these. Cooking with Passion, sw:)

Ingredients For fast fannie's italian 3 inch rims

1refrigerated crescent roll sheet

3 Tbsptomato paste

3 Tbsppesto

4 ozshredded italian cheese, shredded & divided

8 slicesopressata salame
-
8 sliceproscuitto
-
1/4 cpepperoncini peppers, chopped

olive oil, extra virgin to brush on rounds after baked**
How To Make fast fannie's italian 3 inch rims

1gather ingredienats and chop peppers. meanwhile preheat oven to 320 degrees.

2in a small mixing bowl, combine pesto and tomato paste. prepare cookie sheet for the oven. roll out crescent sheet and place on greased cookie shee or silpak, spread tomato/pesto sauce on crescent dough

3add 1/2 of the cheese, salame, peppers, proscuitto and remaining cheese

4roll crescent dough tightly until about 1/4 inch of dough is still showing, dampen the ends with water and seal. chill dough for 15 minutes before slicing. cut into 10-12 rounds (3 inch rounds)

5bake rounds for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. brush with evoo. allow to rest

6time to get those rims on the road "mouth"
