I can't remember for sure where I got this recipe from...I think from a cookbook. Alot of times...I will not put it in the crock-pot..will just use a big pot to cook the sauce in. Also I have been known to add 1/2 lb browned ground meat to it too...yummy~

Ingredients For crock-pot spaghetti sauce

1 lbitalian sausage

1onion-chopped

2 canpetite cut tomatoes

8 oztomato sauce

6 oztomato paste

1bay leaf
-
1 Tbspbrown sugar

2 tspminced garlic
-
1 tspdried basil
-
1 tspdried oregano
-
1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tspthyme
-
vermecelli pasta-cooked
How To Make crock-pot spaghetti sauce

1Uncase the Italian sausage and roll into small balls. Brown in a skillet. Add onion, cook until tender. Drain off grease.

2Add all ingredients except vermecelli to the crock-pot {or if cooking on stove top...to a large pot}. Stirring well.

3Serve over hot cooked pasta. I use vermecelli~
