1 lbbulk italian sausage, mild or hot to your liking

3/4 cgreen bell pepper, chopped

3/4 cred bell pepper, chopped

3/4 conion, chopped

3 clovegarlic, minced

4 citalian bread, cubed to 1" pieces

2 cprovolone cheese, shredded

6 lgeggs
-
2 cheavy cream
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
1/4 tspblack pepper
-
1/3 casiago cheese, grated

1/3 cbasil, fresh, chopped
How To Make cheesy italian breakfast bake

1Spray 13 x 9" glass or ceramic baking dish with cooking spray. Cook sausage, bell peppers, onion & garlic in large nonstick skillet over medium high heat 6 - 8 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink in center & vegetables are slightly softened, stirring occasionally & crumbling sausage. Drain; discard drippings.

2Arrange 1/2 of the bread cubes in baking dish; layer with 1/2 of the sausage mixture & 1 C of the Provolone cheese. Repeat layers.

3Whisk eggs lightly in medium bowl. Whisk in milk, salt & pepper until well blended. Pour over bread mixture in baking dish, pressing down so all ingredients are moistened. Cover; refrigerate overnight.

4Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Sprinkle with Asiago cheese. Bake, uncovered, 40 - 45 minutes or until golden brown & set. Remove from oven; let stand 10 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with basil.
