This is some thing I have been working on for a wile. I got it to were I am very happy with it. So I wanted to share this with my friends.

Ingredients For bob's sausage-n-cheese for the dutch oven.

  • 2 1/2 lb
    hot italian sausage, cubed.
  • 2 c
    chopped onions
  • 2/3 c
    chopped green peppers
  • 2 clove
    chopped garlic
  • 2 16oz can
    tomatoes, stewed italian-style
  • 2 8oz can
    tomatoe juce
  • 1 lb
    chinese sausage
  • 1 md
    zucchini chopped
  • 8 oz
    mushrooms,your choice
  • 1 10oz can
    beef stock
  • 2 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 c
    grated parmesan and romano cheese
  • 1/2 lb
    bacon, cooked
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, light

How To Make bob's sausage-n-cheese for the dutch oven.

    In a large cast iron Dutch oven add oil then cook bacon till crisp. Remove with slotted spoon. break up and set a side.. Now add sausage and cook till no longer pink.. Add onions, peppers, and garlic.. Cover and cook till tender. 10-15 minutes.

    Uncover and add every thing except the cheese.. Heat and stir on med heat for about 30 minutes.. Stir in 1/2 of the cheese. cover the top with remaining cheese. cover and heat till cheese melts.. I serve this over cooked brown rice..
