This is a YUMMY healthy and quick pasta dish that my family enjoys. You can add grilled chicken, meatless meatballs/ turkey meatballs, or any vegetable to make it your new favorite pasta dish.

Ingredients For amber's healthy pasta

  • 2 pkg
    tofu shirataki noodle
  • 1 can
    tomato sauce, no-salt added
  • 1 can
    tomatoes, canned italian-style and diced
  • 1 sm
    tomato paste, no salt added
  • 1 pkg
    broccoli, frozen
  • 1/2 c
    frozen green peppers, diced
  • 1/2 c
    frozen onions, diced
  • 1 pinch
    basil, dried
  • 1 pinch
    oregano, dried
  • 1 pinch
    rosemary, dried
  • 1 pinch
    sea salt
  • 1 pinch
    black pepper
  • 1 tsp
    garlic

How To Make amber's healthy pasta

    Rinse and drain tofu shirataki noodles. In glass or micro-wave safe bowl place noodles in small amount of water and cook for 8-10 mins.

    In large pot place broccoli and cook for about 5-10 mins on low to med heat (careful not to burn or brown broccoli).

    After broccoli is almost tender add diced tomatoes,tomato sauce, tomato paste, onions, peppers, and spices. Cook for about 5-10 mins on med-high heat.

    Once noodles have cooked in the micro-wave for 8-10 mins, drain and add them to the sauce mixture and cook for at least 10-15 mins on med-high heat(careful not to burn).
