This is so delicious and easy to make, but your family will think you spent hours! Another favorite at my house. Easy to make ahead and also freezes well too.

Ingredients For amazing stuffed manicotti

8 ozpackage manicotti shells

1 cshredded mozzarella and romano cheese
- SAUCE:
-
1 lbground beed or pork sausage

1 mddiced onion
-
1 tspitalian seasoning
-
2 clovegarlic-minced
-
1 cantomato sauce, italian seasoned

1 cancrushed tomatoes
-
1 Tbspbasil
-
1/4 ccooking wine
- FILLING:
-
1 boxfrozen spinach-drained
-
15 ozcontainer ricotta cheese
-
1/2 ccottage cheese
-
1/2 cgrated parmasan cheese
-
1 tspbasil
-
1egg beaten
How To Make amazing stuffed manicotti

1In skillet; brown ground beef or sausage with onion, italian seasoning, and garlic. Drain. Add to sauce pan with sauce ingredients. Simmer over medium heat approx 15 minutes. Set aside.

2Meanwhile; cook manicotti shells per package directions. Careful not to over cook. Cooking process will continue as it is being baked. Drain and place shells on foil or wax paper. Let cool.

3In medium sized bowl, combine filling ingredients. Stuff cheese/spinach mixture to fill inside of each shell. Place filled shells into greased casserole dish.

4Top the cheese filled shells with meatsauce. Cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove cover and top with shredded italian cheese last 5 minutes of cooking time. Remove from oven and allow to cool 10-15 minutes before serving. Great with garlic bread and tossed salad!
