Even people who hate canned tuna and hate tuna casseroles, LOVE this casserole. I've been serving it now for over 40 years and it remains a favorite of my family.

Ingredients For world's best tuna casserole

2 cantuna, packed in water
-
1 cancream of mushroom soup
-
1 1/3 cmilk, 2%
-
1 cansliced or diced water chestnuts, drained

1 smchopped green pepper
-
1 tspsalt
-
1 tspground black pepper
-
2 csharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1 box8 oz. small macaroni
How To Make world's best tuna casserole

1Mix all ingredients, reserving 1/3rd of cheese.

2Put mixture in a nonstick 9X11" casserole pan or spray your pan with some Pam first.

3Sprinkle remaining cheese on top of casserole.

4Bake uncovered in 375 degree oven for 1 hr. 15 minute to 1 hr. 30 minutes or until mixture is no longer soupy. If after one hour casserole is browned, you can cover with aluminum foil loosely for remaining time in oven.
