  • LEMON DIJON CREAM SAUCE
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp
    capers
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream
  • 1 Tbsp
    cold butter
  • salt and pepper
  • TUNA
  • 2
    ahi tuna steaks
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • chopped chives, to garnish

How To Make tuna steak with lemon dijon cream sauce

    For the cream sauce, dd the lemon juice, Dijon mustard and capers to a sauce pan. Cook 2 minutes. Add the heavy cream and bring to a low boil and cook 3 minutes. Whisk in the butter and season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

    Season the Tuna with salt and pepper. Add the butter to a cast iron pan. Sear the tuna in the butter for 3 minutes per side.

    Plate the sauce on on plate, slice the tuna and place on the sauce. Garnish with chives.
