This is a wonderful recipe when the weather is hot and you don't want to heat up the kitchen or you wont something simple ad refreshing. I got this recipe over 35 years ago when we lived in South Dade, Florida, where it stayed hot all year. It has become a favorite over the years and I am pleased to share it with you. Ingredients For tuna mac

  • 1 lg
    can of white water packed tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1 sm
    box of macaroni or shell pasta, cooked & drained
  • 2 stick
    celery ribs, diced
  • 1 sm
    onion, minced
  • 1/2 md
    green pepper, diced
  • 1 sm
    jar pimentoes, drained and diced
  • 1/2 c
    sweet pickle relish
  • 3 md
    eggs, hard boiled, and chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    heaping of yellow mustard or tbs. vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    ranch dressing
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • baby lettuce leaves
  • crackers
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make tuna mac

  • 1
    Cook and drain pasta and put side. Drain and flake tuna and mix with the pasta
  • 2
    Chop vegetables and mix with tuna and pasta
  • 3
    Add pimento, pickle relish and mustard and chopped eggs.

    Add the ranch dressing and mayonnaise and the spoon of sugar....Mix well...Salt and pepper to taste Serve over lettuce leaves...Serve with crackers....
