tuna burgers

My grandma used to make these whenever her girls brought friends home after school. Grandma passed 16 years ago but people still say they remember her making this whenever they came over. And I just found out grandma won a cookbook contest in The Kankakee Daily Journal (a local newspaper) with this recipe.

Ingredients For tuna burgers

  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 lg
    or 2 small cans tuna
  • 1 Tbsp
    diced onion
  • 1 pkg
    hamburger buns
  • butter or margarine

How To Make tuna burgers

  • 1
    Mix mushroom soup with tuna and onion.
  • 2
    Put approximately 1/4 c. of filling onto each bun.

    Brush top of each bun with butter or margarine; place on cookie sheet
  • 4
    Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
