Ingredients For tuna burgers

  • 2 - 6 oz can
    solid white tuna, drained
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    plain breadcrumbs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    prepared horseradish
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp
    black pepper
  • 1/2 c
    celery, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make tuna burgers

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    In a large bowl, combine tuna, breadcrumbs, and eggs. Mix lightly.

    Add onion,celery, lemon juice, horseradish, garlic, and pepper. Mix again lightly and gently form into 4 patties.

    Heat the oil in a non stick skillet over medium heat and cook patties, covered, until golden brown.

    Carefully flip the patties and cook on other side for 5 minutes.

    Finish baking in oven until golden brown.

    Serve with fried potatoes and homemade colesalaw.
