This is so good. The fish is very flavorful. We love to use the fresh Bass we catch and make a delicious meal better than any restaurant can do.

Ingredients For tom yum fish fillet

  • 1 Tbsp
    lemongrass paste
  • 4 clove
    garlic
  • 1
    inch size ginger peeled
  • 1 Tbsp
    tom yum paste
  • 1/4 c
    chopped cilantro
  • 1 sm
    lime juice and zest
  • 3
    scallions white parts only
  • 1 Tbsp
    shrimp paste
  • 1 Tbsp
    fish sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 4
    white fish fillets your choice i used bass
  • 1/2 c
    coconut cream milk
  • cilantro or chives for garnish

How To Make tom yum fish fillet

  • 1
    Place all ingredients except fish fillets and coconut cream in a food processor. Process to a paste.

    Preheat oven 350 degrees. Place fish on a parchment lined baking sheet. Spread 1/2 the paste mixture over each fish. Cover with foil and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes.

    Heat the coconut cream with the remaining paste.Serve the fish over rice or rice noodles. Pour the coconut cream sauce over top and garnish with cilantro or chives.
