Ingredients For stuffed whitefish

  • 3 lb
    dressed whitefish or other fish, boned
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onion
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped green pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 12 oz
    can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 c
    soft bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp
    chopped canned pimiento
  • 1/8 tsp
    dried thyme, crushed
  • 2 Tbsp
    salad oil
  • paprika, for garnish, if necessary
  • parsley for garnish, if necessary

How To Make stuffed whitefish

  • 1
    Sprinkle inside of fish with salt. Place in well greased shallow baking pan.

    In a saucepan cook onion and pepper in butter. Stir in next 4 ingredients and 1/2 teaspoon salt Spread stuffing loosely over fillets. Roll fillets and place seam side down, in pan

    Brush with oil; cover with foil. Bake at 350 F for 45 to 60 minutes
