Ingredients For steamed fish with cilantro sauce

    firm fish filets like sole, bass, flounder, trout
  • GINGER MARINADE
  • 2 Tbsp
    rice wine or saki
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    grated ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    toasted sesame oil
  • CILANTRO SAUCE
  • 6 Tbsp
    chicken stock
  • 3 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1/4 c
    fresh cilantro chopped

How To Make steamed fish with cilantro sauce

    Mix the marinade ingredients together. Place the fish filets on plastic wrap pour the marinade over and rub through all filets. Wrap and place in fridge for at least 30 minutes.

    Place fish in a steamer and steam for 8 to 10 minutes. Depending how thick the fish is.

    While the fish is steaming. Add the sauce ingredients to a saucepan and cook until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat

    Serve the steamed fish with the cilantro sauce
