Look for shrimp that has been deveined to save prep time. I like to completely shell the shrimp but you could leave tails on if you like. This is a nice blend of spicy, tangy and sweet. This increases in heat as leftovers!

Ingredients For spicy cajun baked shrimp

1/2 cextra virgin olive oil

2 Tbspcajun or creole seasoning (such as emeril's)

2 Tbsplemon juice, fresh

2 Tbspfresh parsley, chopped

1 Tbsphoney

1 Tbspsoy sauce

1 pinchcayenne pepper

1 lbuncooked large shrimp, shelled and deveined

lemon wedges

serve over rice with crusty bread
How To Make spicy cajun baked shrimp

1Combine oil, seasoning, lemon juice, parsley, honey, soy sauce and a pinch of cayenne pepper in a 9 x 13 baking dish.

2Add shrimp and toss to coat. Refrigerate 1 hour

3Preheat oven ot 450. Bake until shrimp are cooked through, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes.

4Garnish with lemon wedges and serve with rice and crusty bread for dipping.
