Pretty much like a scampi, but at high cooking temps, the shrimp actually sizzles and has a great flavor.

Ingredients For sizzling shrimp.

  • 2 stick
    unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 stick
    plus 2 tsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    lemon zest
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 3 lb
    lg shrimp, peeled,deveined, tails left on.
  • 1 Tbsp
    sliced basil leaves

How To Make sizzling shrimp.

    Heat oven to 450. In lg bowl, mix butter w/ garlic until well combined. Mix in 2 tsp parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, and thyme. season w/ salt and pepper, if desired.

    In lg baking dish, arrange shrimp, tails up in a circular pattern. Dot shrimp w/ seassoned butter.

    Roast 10 min, or until shrimp is sizzling. Sprinkle w/ remaining parsley and basil.
