shrimp kabobs

Thses were inspired by a WW recipe, but I added 5 additional ingredients and changed the herb from basil to parsley. It was originaly called Buttery Shrimp and Eggplant Kabobs. I just grilled the shrimp, no veggies.

Ingredients For shrimp kabobs

  • 1 lb
    shrimp deveined and shell removed
  • 2 Tbsp
    whipped butter
  • 2 tsp
    olive oil
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 to 2 tsp
    hot sauce
  • splash
    white wine
  • 1 Tbsp
    hot horseradish
  • salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped

How To Make shrimp kabobs

    Peel and devein shrimp and put in a shallow plate, I like to use a glass pie plate.

    Combine everything else in a bowl, stir to combine and pour over shrimp. Let marinate overnight oif possible, longer is better.

    Put the shrimp on 4 skewrs and grill on high for 3 to 5 minutes, or until shrimp are pink and firm. Do not over cook. I use my stove top grill for this. An outside grill would work fine as well.
