I combine the flavors of two seafood favorites into one dish. It's very good and super savory. Enjoy!

Ingredients For shrimp and salmon with garlic rice

5 Tbspbutter, divided

3 Tbspall purpose flour

1 1/2 cheavy cream
-
1 1/2 ccolby cheese, shredded

1 tspsea salt
-
1/2 tspgrund mustard
-
1/2 tspdill
-
1/2 tspsage
-
1 dashcayenne pepper
-
1 1/2 lbsalmon, skinless filet
-
1/2 lbshrimp, peeled and deveined

3 clovegarlic
-
1 cuncooked rice
-
2 cchicken broth
How To Make shrimp and salmon with garlic rice

1In large saucepan melt 2 tbsp butter. stir in flour until smooth, gradually add cream. bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened.

2Add 1 cup cheese, salt, mustard, dill, sage and cayenne. Stir until cheese is melted. Remove from heat and stir in shrimp.

3pat salmon dry with paper towels. place in a greased 13x9 baking dish. Pour shrimp mixture over salmon and top with remaining cheese.

4bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until fish flakes easily and shrimp turns pink.

5meanwhile, in a saucepan, saute garlic in remaining butter until tender. Add rice, cook and stir for 2 minutes. Stir in broth and bring to boil. Reduce heat and cook, covered, for 15 minutes or until rice is tender.

6serve rice with salmon and shrimp mixture.
