Ingredients For salmon patty cakes

  • 1/4 c
    red bell pepper
  • 1/4 c
    green onions
  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp
    seasoning salt
  • 1 dash
    cayenne pepper (more or less for taste)
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1 pkg
    salmon 6 oz
  • 1 c
    bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make salmon patty cakes

  • 1
    Finely chop red pepper and green onion. Put both in a mixing bowl and add mayonnaise, lemon juice, seasoned salt and cayenne pepper. Stir.

    Stir in beaten egg, salmon and 4 tablespoons bread crumbs.

    Form 6-8 balls, roll balls in remaining bread crumbs and flatten.

    Heat butter in a frying pan and fry over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. About 5 minutes per side.
