Quick easy delicious. I also make this with caned Mackerel. We just love it with a little tarter sauce on the side.

Ingredients For salmon patties

  • 1 can
    salmond or mackrel with broth
  • 1 pkg
    saltine crackers crumbled
  • 1 sm
    onion diced fine if desired
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 1 c
    or less for frying

How To Make salmon patties

  • 1
    Open fish and pour into bowel with broth. Take center bones out and break up meat slightly.
  • 2
    Add diced onion if desired, cracker crumbs and eggs. Mix well with hands. Set aside for 5-10 minuted to allow time for crackers to absorb broth.
  • 3
    Place oil in fry pan and heat while forming fish into patties. Brown patties on one side then turn and brown on other side. Remove to serving platter.
