Since my hubby got laid off I noticed I have been cooking lentils a lot more - LOL! This is a recipe I invented when my brother-in-law gave us a salmon and I had a bunch of leftover lentils.

Ingredients For salmon 'n' lentils ragout

2 tspmargarine (or sub butter)

1 1/2 lbfresh salmon, fileted and cut in chunks (some skin okay) or substitute canned

1 lborange lentils, cooked to your liking (or substitute brown lentils)

1 tspground cumin

1 tspsalt
-
1/2 tsppepper

1/2 tsponion powder
-
1/2 tspgarlic powder with parsley
How To Make salmon 'n' lentils ragout

1In a large pot over medium heat, add the margarine and then add the salmon. Cook until opaque, about 5 minutes. Add the lentils and other ingredients and continue cooking until flavors meld and heated through. Enjoy!
