Back in the 70's Brenda's Mom would invite me to lunch when she fixed this. so I got her recipe.

Ingredients For salmon loaf

  • 1 can
    salmon, canned
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika or 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1/4 c
    cracker crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp
    melted butter
  • 3
    egg yolks, well beaten
  • 3
    egg whites, stiffly beaten

How To Make salmon loaf

  • 1
    Remove dark sking and bones from salmon. Separate into flakes with fork
  • 2
    Combine all ingredients, except egg whites. Mix well. Then fold in egg whites
  • 3
    Pour into well greased loaf pan. Bake until lightly brown on top. at 325 oven
