Ingredients For quahog chowder

1/4 cdiced, salt pork

1/4 cchopped onions

1 cclam liquor and water

1 cpotatoes, diced

1/2 tspsalt

dash of pepper

3 qtquahogs (hard-shell clams) shucked and chopped with liquid reserved

2 cmilk
How To Make quahog chowder

1Fry Salt pork until golden. Add onion and cook until tender and transparent.

2Add liquor, potatoes, salt, pepper and clams. Cook about 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Add milk. Heat. Serve with crackers.
