I started with red lobster recipe for crusted tolapia then changed to what hubby would like better [because he liked the recipe there and asked me to make it at home]. Will get another pic next time i make this. My camera ate this pic [guess it was that good...heheheeeeeee].

Ingredients For parm crusted talapia

  • 1 lb
    talapia, filets
  • 6 oz
    shredded 3 cheeses[parmesan,romano,asiago]
  • 1 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp
    chives,dried
  • 8 oz
    french onion chip dip
  • 1/2 lb
    pasta[your choice..i used penne]
  • 2 Tbsp
    very finely chopped red bell pepper
  • 8 oz
    sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • olive oil,divided

How To Make parm crusted talapia

    chop red bell peppers fine...put water on to boil for pasta[DO NOT SALT] when water boils add pasta and bell pepper and onion powder cook til pasta is done[to your taste]drain pasta well set aside

    take olive oil and pour onto cookie sheet tip and turn and make sure all surface is coated then pour rest into pan pasta was cooked in.....add mushrooms to it cook til tender

    while mushrooms cook... get fish ready to bake pre heat oven to 375 degrees... take cheeses,panko, and chives put in lg zip bag shake to mix well set aside now take the chip dip and put on plate taking one piece of fish at a time slather in dip on both sides put in bag with breading shake well to coat now put on cookie sheet do rest of fish once all fish is coated put in oven cook 15 min then flip fish over cook 10-15 min more til flakes easily remove fish from oven

    once mushrooms are cooked add pasta back into pan add any leftover dip[use more if none left] and breadcrumb mix into pasta to serve plate the pasta then top with fish
