Clam Chowder is one of my very favorite things to eat. My husband is not a fan of seafood, so whenever we go out to eat, if available, I get some Clam Chowder. This is an old recipe that I had. It's been years since I made it but it is delicious. I hope you will enjoy it too. As my son used to say when he was little..."It's solicious"

Ingredients For new england clam chowder

3 slicesalt pork
-
4 mdpotatoes, pared and cut into small cubes

1 smonion, diced

1 ptclams, cleaned and picked over

1 1/2 cevaporated milk or half and half

2 Tbspbutter
How To Make new england clam chowder

1Fry bacon or salt pork, and add potatoes. Add the small onion, salt and pepper and clams. If using canned clams, drain. Add water to cover. Let cook until tender. Add butter and milk. You can use this same recipe for using scallops instead of clams.
