Ingredients For mildly spicy catfish fillets

  • 1 c
    cornmeal
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    or to taste cayenne pepper
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 6
    catfish fillets
  • 2 Tbsp
    canola oil

How To Make mildly spicy catfish fillets

    In shallow bowl, mix cornmeal, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper. In another bowl, beat eggs w/ milk.

    Dip each fillet into milk mix, then press into cormeal mix, coating both sides. Heat oil in lgg skillet over med-high heat. Pan fry fillets until golden brown and fish flakes easily w/ fork.
